Judge Heather Galvin graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science where she was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society and the Delta Zeta Sorority. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the Cleveland Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University and is admitted to the practice of law in Ohio, South Carolina, and Washington D.C. Prior to moving to South Carolina; she worked for LexisNexis as an Applications Consultant and Senior Legal Research Associate. Upon relocating to South Carolina, Judge Galvin served as an Assistant Solicitor for the 14th Judicial Circuit. In 2007, she opened the Law Offices of Heather Galvin focusing on the areas of family and probate law. As part of her practice, she had the opportunity to serve as part-time Staff Attorney for the Beaufort County Probate Court; contract attorney for the Guardian ad litem programs in Allendale, Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton, and Jasper Counties in abuse and neglect proceedings involving children; and pro-bono Special Prosecutor in Beaufort County for animal cruelty cases.   In October of 2012, she was sworn in as full-time Associate Probate Judge for Beaufort County where she served until her election as Probate Judge in 2023.  She is the Second Vice President of the South Carolina Association of Probate Judges and a member of the Executive Committee of the National College of Probate Judges. In her spare time, she enjoys jogging, swimming, Pilates, and tennis.

Judge Wegmann attended the University of Texas at Austin on a Naval ROTC Scholarship and upon graduation, was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps.  During his tenure in the Marine Corps, Jim “Mongo” Wegmann served as an A6E Intruder Bombardier Navigator with VMA(AW)-121 and VMA(AW)-242.  While serving in the Marine Corps, he applied for and was accepted into the Marine Corps Funded Law Education Program.  Judge Wegmann attended Oklahoma City University School of Law and graduated Magna Cum Laude.  After graduation, he performed legal duties as a Marine Corps Judge Advocate in a variety of billets to include Chief Legal Assistance Officer, Senior Defense Counsel, Special Assistant US Attorney, Civil Law, and Director of the Tax Center.

Judge Wegmann has been a member of the State Bar of Texas since 1994, United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces since 1996, the South Carolina Bar since 1997, and the United States District Court, District of South Carolina since 1998. 

Judge Wegmann is married to Connie Wegmann, and they have two sons, Joshua and Christopher, and two grandchildren, Rylee and Walter.

Kathleen Muthig is an experienced bankruptcy and creditors' rights attorney. She represents all types of creditors in litigation, including lenders, financial institutions, banks, credit unions, and landlords. In addition to her creditor practice, she has experience handling real property disputes, most of which are resulting from title insurance claims.
Kathleen also has an administrative law practice, which includes helping businesses apply for alcohol licenses and trying contested cases before the Administrative Law Court.
Prior to joining Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, Kathleen had a volume creditor bankruptcy practice where she represented national servicers and also handled real estate closings. The skills she learned in reviewing title work for closings serve her well in her practice today. Kathleen began her legal career as a staff attorney at the SC Supreme Court and later worked as in-house counsel at First Citizens Bank before entering private practice.
Kathleen graduated from Furman University in 2008 and USC School of Law in 2011. She is from Summerville and attended Summerville High School.
Professionally, she is a member of the J. Bratton Davis Bankruptcy American Inn of Court and has served as chair of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court District of S.C. Local Rules Committee. She is also a member of the State and Richland County bar associations. She has spoken recently on the ins and outs of federal civil practice and state court collections remedies. She is married and a mother of two bright, spirited boys who are 4 and 5 years old. In her spare time, she loves playing tennis, spending time at the beach, and learning how to garden.     
 

Born in Columbia, South Carolina and raised in Charleston, the son of The Honorable Mikell R. and Mary Elizabeth LeMacks Scarborough. Attended the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee, where I majored in English and Music. I graduated from Sewanee in May, 2013 and worked for four years in education in Little Rock, Arkansas and Columbia, South Carolina. I enrolled at the University of South Carolina School of Law in the fall of 2017. While in law school I was Editor in Chief of the ABA Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal and was a competing member of the Mock Trial team. I was also a member of the John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court and the recipient of both the Claude N. Sapp and Sherod H. Eadon Scholarship Awards. In the spring of 2020, I served as extern to the Honorable James O. Spence. While working for Judge Spence I became involved with the South Carolina Foreclosure Law Manual, Fourth Edition, which was published by the Bar last fall. I graduated from law school in May, 2020 and took a job as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. D. Craig Brown in Florence, South Carolina.

Suzanne (Suzi) Graham Grigg focuses her legal practice in the areas of Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights. Throughout the course of any given day, Suzi works with a variety of financial institutions from traditional banks to credit unions to mezzanine lenders. Her practice covers the entire state of South Carolina. Whether it is negotiating with pro se Debtors or arguing cases in the South Carolina Court of Appeals Suzi holds her respect of the law in high regard and treats everyone as she would want to be treated.

When away from the office, Suzi is busy as a mother of two boys and a wife. She is also very active in professional and community organizations. Suzi has held leadership positions for the South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association and the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation. She has also served on the Board of Directors for the Oliver Gospel Mission, a ministry devoted to serving homeless men, women and children. Suzi currently serves on the Board of Directors for Daybreak LifeCare Center, a ministry devoted to saving lives and introducing the Gospel to the people Daybreak serves. Suzi's family is active at the First Baptist Church in Columbia, SC.

Suzi received a B.A. in History and German from the College of Charleston. She then spent a summer in Vienna, Austria, with a Loyola University School of Law Program. Suzi finished her first year of law school at Loyola and then received her Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond School of Law. She was a Law School Admissions Representative and a member of the Christian Legal Society.
