The South Carolina Bar CLE Division is pleased to present a program focused on using Microsoft Word the “Right” way in your law practice. Sam Albergotti, who is a member of the Bar's Technology Committee, has been using Microsoft Word since he purchased Microsoft Word for MS-DOS (Version 1.0) in 1984. He claims (possibly erroneously) to be the only South Carolina attorney who never used WordPerfect in his practice.
Sam has designed this program to show how to properly format and create some of the “building blocks” of text used most often by lawyers and paralegals, including headings, captions, pleading signature blocks, signature lines with and without witnesses, notary certificates and other “pieces” used over and over. The program will also explore the formatting mistakes that are most frequently made. If you still yearn for “reveal codes”, this seminar might help!!
Attendees will receive an Autotext template they can use to draft like a pro.
This seminar is an advanced level program.
This program qualifies for 3.0 MCLE credit hours.
