Since 2002, Courtney Troutman has been the Director of the South Carolina Bar Practice Management Assistance Program (PMAP). At the Bar, she assists lawyers in large and small firms with risk management and law practice-related issues. She is the liaison to the Ethics Advisory committee, the Professional Responsibility committee, the Intellectual Property and Innovation committee, and the Solo & Small Firm Section. A member of the South Carolina Bar since 1990, she practiced in large law firms and worked as the Director of Information Technology in a mid-size firm. She is a fellow of the College of Law Practice Management, in recognition of her career contributions to the field of law practice management. She was a Fastcase 50 honoree in 2014.

Peyre Lumpkin graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School in 1986. He served one year as Law Clerk to the Honorable Hubert E. Long in Lexington County. In August 1987, he entered private practice with the firm of Hinds, Cowan and Strange in Georgetown, South Carolina. Mr. Lumpkin’s practice consisted of domestic, personal injury, real estate and construction law. In January 2014, Mr. Lumpkin accepted the appointment as the full time Receiver for the Office of Commission Counsel. Mr. Lumpkin is married with three children and one grandchild.
