Ethics and Practice Program (LEAPP) is a collaborative effort between the
Office of Disciplinary Counsel to the Supreme Court of South Carolina and the
Professional Responsibility Committee and CLE Division of the South Carolina
Bar. LEAPP is a four-part program that
is held multiple times each year. LEAPP is a comprehensive exploration of
the fundamentals of legal ethics designed for lawyers and other legal
professionals at any career stage. The faculty includes knowledgeable and
experienced members of the Bar who deal with various aspects of lawyer
discipline cases and matters involving ethics, professionalism, and legal
malpractice.
LEAPP Law Office Management School is (4.75 hour) program that addresses a variety of issues that arise in the practice of law that can lead to ethical dilemmas, including calendar management, document management, client communication, employee supervision, succession planning, law office finances, and cyber security. It is a comprehensive workshop on practice management solutions and ethical compliance.
