Join the SC Bar CLE Division for “Fighting for Crime Victims – Civil Litigation on Tuesday, February 15. This program will assist practitioners who represent victims of crime where a third party owed a legal duty to take reasonable measures to protect the individual from the criminal acts of others. Specifically, those presenting will focus on three civil avenues for recourse: negligent security, dram shop, and human trafficking litigation. Attendees will come away with a strong understanding of the law, what to look for when vetting a potential case, common discovery battles and obstacles in litigation, and other practice pointers.
This seminar is an intermediate level program.
