Thursday, January 27, 2022Please join us January 27, 2022, for a discussion about significant changes in the legal profession. A recent study by the American Bar Association that found the effects of COVID-19 were significant is an understatement. It was reported that 1/3 of older lawyers said it changed their retirement plans, while 1/3 of lawyers stated their income was reduced, stress increased, and peer interactions decreased. All the while, client demands are changing with increasingly more sophisticated issues at a time when South Carolina was reported to have the least number of lawyers per capita of any other state in the U.S.
Join us for a discussion format CLE that will cover several issues that stem from the changing legal landscape, COVID-19, and how lawyers and law firms need to adapt in 2022 and beyond.
The South Carolina Bar is an accredited CLE provider in South Carolina only. Attorneys are responsible for seeking their own credit in other jurisdictions.
