Join the SC Bar CLE Division and SC Bar Diversity Committee on February 28 for a special two-hour CLE.
The first hour will cover best workplace practices for making sure your attorneys from minority or marginalized communities are properly included and respected within both the work they do and the place they work. It will be presented by a moderator and four-member panel of attorneys from diverse backgrounds who will answer questions from the moderator.
The second hour hour will address how an attorney’s personal and cultural background can affect their mental health within the profession. It will be presented by Robyn Ellison, M.Ed. Topics to include:

Importance of taking care of one’s mental health

Mental health statistics within the legal profession generally

Mental health statistics based on different personal and cultural
backgrounds

Important steps in caring for your personal mental health

Improving mental health initiatives within the workplace

Being a positive part of the mental health in your workplace
· Resources for boosting mental health for both you and your coworker
This program qualifies for 2.0 MCLE credit including up to 1.0 LEPR credit hour and 1.0 SA/MH credit hour. SC
