The South Carolina Bar's Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Division is pleased to present the 2024 edition of one of our most significant annual seminars-Family Law Essentials. Course planners Mary Fran Quindlen and Jonathan Lounsberry have crafted a practical, interactive seminar that covers the key components of domestic litigation practice.
The distinguished faculty includes Court of Appeals Chief Judge Bruce Williams, Family Court Judges Rosalyn Frierson-Smith and Ernie Jarrett, as well as a highly experienced group of leading domestic practice attorneys. They are dedicated to guiding attendees through the essential processes necessary for success in this challenging practice area. Topics will include pleadings and motions, temporary hearings, discovery, motions to compel and contempt, rules to show cause, DSS/juvenile matters, appellate practice, and guidance on domestic violence. Additionally, attendees will gain valuable insights into courtroom success, effective client management, and strategies for dealing with opposing counsel and managing client expectations. The program also features an ethics segment on considerations when starting your own practice.
Whether you are a new attorney or new to domestic practice, this comprehensive program is not to be missed.
This
seminar is a basic level program.
