This 6-hour CLE, jointly sponsored by the SC
Bar and Disability Rights South Carolina, addresses some of the major concerns
faced by attorneys representing vulnerable adults across the state. Lawyers
with vulnerable clients, both aging and disabled, must address issues such as
abuse and neglect, alternative decision making, and involuntary commitment.
Attorneys must also plan how to protect their clients’ interests if they are
incapacitated.
This seminar is an intermediate level program.
The South Carolina Bar is an accredited CLE provider in South Carolina only. Attorneys are responsible for seeking their own credit in other jurisdictions.
