About the Seminar
Topics covered will all be related to water law, with the exception of the fifth topic, which will concern a general discussion about the EPA on its 50th anniversary. The program includes a discussion regarding the implications of “capacity use” designations of groundwater, controversial decisions to armor properties (including the City of Charleston’s surge protection wall) in anticipation of sea level rise, the status post-election of wetland regulation, and the ever-changing balance between public and private interests in public beaches and waters.
