2021 Bar Convention Government Law Section/Administrative & Regulatory Law Committee Out of Stock
Thank you to our South Carolina Bar Convention Sponsor!
This joint presentation of the Government Law Section and the Administrative and Regulatory Law Committee will focus on the workings of local governments and state agencies in a year that has brought about once in a lifetime (we hope) challenges. The seminar will begin with a timely discussion of redistricting in the wake of the 2020 election, followed by a Review/Preview of the Legislative year and what is likely to garner traction in the General Assembly after the economic impacts of COVID-19. Next, Chief Judge of the Administrative Law Court Ralph Anderson will provide some insights on Tales of Emails. Finally, our presentation will be anchored by a panel discussion from multiple agencies (DHEC, DOR, DEW, LLR) and local governments to discuss the direct impacts and lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic.
