About the Seminar
Join Charleston School of Law professor Miller Shealy for his annual (2015-2016) review of SCOTUS decisions. The untimely death of Justice Scalia meant that some very important cases will await resolution when we have a new justice on the Court - including cases dealing with the scope of executive power, affirmative action, and the rights to contraceptive coverage under Obamacare. In the meantime, the Court produced important decisions on issues ranging from organized labor, to the death penalty, juvenile justice, and capital sentencing. If you want an authoritative and entertaining look at these and other significant SCOTUS cases, don't miss this important review and commentary.
Speakers: Miller W. Shealy, Jr./Jill C. Rothstein
