Product Details
South Carolina became the first state to adopt a model law called the Insurance Data Security Act (IDSA). Phased in between January 1, 2019, and July 1, 2020, the statute imposes a broad and comprehensive set of cybersecurity mandates on all licensees of South Carolina Department of Insurance (SCDOI).
This two-hour OnDemand program provides an overview of major aspects of the law, including compliance, investigations, and reporting. For those interested in cybersecurity but not governed by the IDSA, this CLE offers a valuable synopsis of critical best practices in data protection and regulatory compliance.
