About the Seminar
This year’s Bar Convention CLE will focus on legal writing. Critically important to litigator and appellate practitioners alike, this year’s program seeks to bring two useful—and entertaining—perspectives to something lawyers do every day. Stuart Teicher (the “CLE Performer”) will offer tips and tricks for every lawyer to be a more effective writer, and a panel of state and federal judges will offer their perspectives on writing: What works, what doesn’t, what’s annoying, and the like. We will also bring back the civil law update, providing a concise overview of key recent appellate decisions in civil cases and what lawyers and judges should be looking for in the year to come. As always, this year’s program is mandatory for South Carolina’s circuit bench.
