About the Seminar
The SC Bar CLE Division is pleased to present our annual Probate and Trust Administration Essentials seminar. This basic level seminar is designed by Course Planners Scott Hutto and Deidre Edmonds to provide practical guidance and a step-by-step approach to handling estate and trust work for attorneys new to this area, as well as a concise refresher for more experienced trust, estate and elder law practitioners.
Our experienced and dedicated faculty
will walk you through the processes necessary to open an estate, administer
both trusts and estates, understand and handle post-mortem tax issues. In addition, you will learn about the ethical
implications of representing a fiduciary.
There will also be a very practical discussion of the real-life problems
that can arise in probate and trust administration practice. This special seminar concludes with a panel
discussion and Q&A by our distinguished faculty which will provide you with
insights on opening and operating an estate/probate practice.
