Anthony is a shareholder of Murphy & Grantland and concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury defense litigation. As a certified circuit court mediator, part of his practice is also dedicated to alternative dispute resolution and mediations.  He has presented numerous continuing legal education seminars on mediation and leadership. He also participated in the 2019 SC ABOTA Masters in Trial as a member of the defense team. 

Prior to joining the firm, Anthony served for four years in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer with several overseas deployments.  He has tried numerous cases to verdict throughout South Carolina.  His other association memberships include the Richland County Bar Association, South Carolina Bar, International Association of Defense Counsel, South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys Association, and DRI. He recently served a term as the President of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys Association (SCDTAA), the preeminent defense attorney association in South Carolina.  In 2019, Livoti was named the recipient of the Fred. H. Sievert Award in honor of his work in developing the Emerging Leaders Program for the SCDTAA. This nationwide award is presented by the Defense Research Institute (DRI) to an individual who “has made a significant contribution towards achieving the goals and objectives of the organized defense bar.”  All nominees “must be the current or past president of a State and Local Defense Organization, who have initiated innovative projects for the betterment of the organization and exercised strong leadership.” 

Anthony attended The Citadel, where he obtained his undergraduate degree in political science and graduated cum laude with his Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. While in law school, he was the Articles Editor of the South Carolina Law Review and was also a member of the Order of Wig and Robe and Order of the Coif.  He and his wife Jill have three children.  Anthony enjoys playing guitar and is active in leadership at his church, Northeast Presbyterian. 

The Honorable J. Michelle Childs was appointed to the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina in August 2010. She holds a B.S. in Management from the University of South Florida Honors College, a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of  Law,  a Masters  in Personnel and Employment Relations from the University of South Carolina's Darla Moore School of Business, and a Masters of Judicial Studies from Duke University School of Law.

Prior to the federal court, she served as an At-Large Circuit Court Judge, including having responsibilities as the Chief Administrative Judge for General Sessions and Business Court for the Fifth Judicial Circuit of Richland and Kershaw Counties. Judge Childs also had the distinct honor of gubernatorial appointments as a Workers' Compensation Commissioner (2002-06) and as the Deputy Director for the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation's Division of Labor (2000-02), overseeing programs for Wages and Child Labor, OSHA, OSHA Voluntary Programs, Elevators and Amusement Rides, Migrant Labor, and Labor-Management Mediation. Judge Childs was formerly a partner with the law firm of Nexsen Pruet Jacobs & Pollard, LLP, in Columbia, South Carolina, where she practiced in the areas of employment and labor law and general litigation. Judge Childs is very active with various local, state, and national bar organizations, as well as community organizations. She currently serves as chair of the American Bar Association's Judicial Division and Secretary of the American Bar Association's Labor and Employment Law Section. She is also a member of the American Law Institute and the Council of the American Bar Association's Section of Litigation.

As a practicing lawyer and judge, she has lectured and served frequently on panels for topics regarding litigation and trial techniques, courtroom practices and procedures, discovery and expert witness issues, evidence, and various topics for new lawyers.
 

South Carolina attorney Johnny Felder received his undergraduate degree in Economics from
Wofford College in 1990. He went on to get his law degree from the University of South
Carolina School of Law in 1994.
Johnny currently specializes in medical malpractice, nursing home and personal injury cases
involving catastrophic injury. He has procured many successful trial verdicts both jury and nonjury.
Relatively recently, Johnny and his law partner Chad McGowan procured the largest
personal injury verdict in the history of Aiken County. Over the years, while predominantly
handling personal injury matters, Johnny has also handled various types of business and class
action cases. For example, he represented a series of automobile dealers in litigation involving
RICO and breach of contract claims against multiple Honda entities. He also served as class
counsel in antitrust litigation Hillenbrand Industries, resulting in one of the largest private
antitrust settlements in the history of the United States. Johnny was an attorney who worked for
the State of South Carolina in the tobacco litigation. He also served on the Steering Committee in
the Graniteville train disaster litigation and was a member of the Economic Loss Steering
Committee in the Renu Recall litigation.
Johnny is a current member of the board of governors for the South Carolina Association for
Justice. He is a past president and board member of the Palmetto Chapter of the Juvenile
Diabetes Research Foundation. For several years he served as a board member for the Hootie
and the Blowfish Monday after the Masters annual charity event.
Johnny is happily married to his wife Kim, and is the proud father of Gressette, William and
Anna Felder and proud stepfather of Xan, Claudia and Harriet Dubose. 

Karl Brehmer is a 1989 graduate of the University of South Carolina School with a JD/ MBA Degree. For the last thirty-one (31) years, he has practiced actively in the State of South Carolina in a civil litigation practice with the concentration in defense work but enjoys a modest plaintiff's practice as well. He has tried more than two (200) hundred cases in almost every county in the State of South Carolina. He has been an active member in ABOTA since January 2000. He has an AV rating form Martindale Hubbard that he has held for more than twenty (20) years.  

Kelli, a native of Greenville, South Carolina, is a 1996 graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law. She has practiced in Columbia, South Carolina since graduation, primarily in the areas of insurance coverage, insurance defense, and professional negligence. She is a certified civil mediator. She frequently represents licensed professionals at administrative hearings at the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation.

Kelli is a former Chair of the South Carolina Bar’s Ethics Advisory Committee, and a former member of the Bar’s Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee. She had been named as one of the Legal Elite of the Midlands on multiple occasions in the areas of insurance defense, and has taught the civil sections of the South Carolina Bar’s Law School for Non Lawyers.

Kelli and her husband Mike have two children, Ellen and Andrew and enjoy attending their son’s lacrosse matches and spending time together cooking as a family.

Pamela Mullia is a past president of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association and has been practicing personal injury law for over 22 years at the Mullis Law Firm in Columbia, South Carolina.  Pamela is an active member of the American Association for Justice - now serving as South Carolina’s representative to the Board of Governors.  She served as the Chair of the AAJ Convention Planning Committee for five years, and the chair of the Sole Practitioner & Small Firm Section and is past Chair of the Compliance Committee.  She is currently Co-chair of the Trampoline Injury Litigation Group and Vice Chair of the Litigation Group Leaders Council.      

Pamela is the current CLE Chair for the South Carolina Association for Justice, and serves on their Board of Governors.  She was the first women in the state of South Carolina inducted into the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.  She is a nationally published author in the area of Dram Shop Litigation and was most recently nominated to join the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) in 2020.
