Drew’s practice centers on the intersection of science and law. He holds a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and a master’s degree in experimental psychology and before becoming an attorney, he spent several years engaged in academic research in the areas of psychology and neuroscience with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital & Medical Center and the University of Cincinnati Departments of Psychology, Biology, and Neurology. Drew has published multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and presented at national conferences, including the Society for Neuroscience annual meeting.

Before joining PRWK, Drew litigated multi-party product liability actions involving medical devices and pharmaceuticals, commercial transportation and aviation cases, and complex medical injury lawsuits. In those cases, he managed extensive discovery, performed legal and scientific research, and drafted numerous complex motions, including pre-answer motions to dismiss, discovery motions, summary judgment motions, and motions to exclude the opinions of expert witnesses. Drew also regularly consults in traumatic brain injury and other complex medical injury claims, where he analyzes medical records and other claim materials to advise regarding case strategy. His unique background and experience allow him to understand, identify, and utilize the complex medical, scientific, and technical issues involved in his cases to most effectively advocate for his clients.

Brandon represents a variety of clients in complex litigation across the country, particularly with cases involving technical/scientific issues. This includes litigating and consulting on traumatic brain injury cases in 31 states. Brandon has tried cases in first and second chair roles and steered more than 150 cases with brain injuries and with psychological injuries including PTSD, conversion disorder, and claims of traumatically induced ADHD, psychotic disorder, and bipolar disorder. These cases involve diverse scenarios ranging from low-speed collisions to catastrophic commercial vehicle accidents, from sports injuries to aviation incidents. Brandon regularly presents on the medical and legal aspects of complex damages issues at national conferences and provides TBI workshops to attorneys and clients.
In 2016, the American Bar Association recognized Brandon as one of the country's "Top 40 Young Lawyers."
 

Christopher J. Finney received his law degree from St. Louis University, where he was awarded the David J. Hensler academic award for excellence in trial advocacy. Upon graduation, he accepted a position as an assistant circuit attorney in the Circuit Attorney’s Office in St. Louis, MO. While at the Circuit Attorney’s, Chris handled various issues, including Grand Jury indictments, felony gun, and drug crimes.

After the CAO’s, Chris accepted a job at a large insurance defense firm where he handled cases ranging from dog bites to premises liability to auto collisions to wrongful death. He gained insight into how an insurance company and defense team analyze and handle claims and litigation.

It was in 2012 that he joined his father and brother in practice. There, he began his journey as a plaintiff’s trial attorney, fighting against the industry he once defended.

In 2018, Chris opened his trial practice, Finney Injury Law. Today, Chris and his team litigate injury claims of all types, including trucking crashes, traumatic brain injury, auto collisions, daycare/childcare negligence, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and premises liability. Because of his former experience as a football player and coach, he is particularly interested in head injury cases, including concussions and traumatic brain injuries.

Since opening his private trial practice, he has achieved multi-million dollar verdicts, supported hundreds of clients through their recovery process and helps them find justice for their injuries. He was selected as a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum at the age of 30, an invitation-only group in which less than 1 percent of attorneys are members nationwide. He is also a member of numerous organizations and enjoys sharing knowledge among peers at educational conferences.

Greg litigates traumatic brain injuries and other complex personal injury and psychological injury claims as a member of the traumatic brain injury, commercial transportation, and products liability teams. His fluency with medical and scientific concepts enables him to evaluate risks and identify opportunities presented by cases with technical evidence and to develop strategies for using that evidence to clients’ advantage.

Greg’s approach to these one-of-a-kind complex-injury cases he handles is anything but boilerplate. He develops a detailed understanding of evidence and issues specific to each case; masters essential medical issues, methods, and terminology being addressed by opposing experts; undertakes a thorough analysis of medical causation; and crafts a detail-oriented strategy to leverage facts and law to determine how to translate the client’s best case to judge and jury. Greg’s depositions of opponents’ experts are guided by his case-specific approach, designed to support Daubert admissibility challenges, and informed by his significant experience with issues of neuroimaging, neuropsychological assessments, medication effects, and course of treatment in traumatic brain injury cases.

Greg regularly publishes and speaks to major industry organizations around the country on current issues in traumatic brain injury litigation. He consults with attorneys nationwide on expert witness selection, expert witness depositions, and preparation of pre-trial evidentiary motions on the admissibility of expert witness testimony and scientific evidence. As proof of Greg’s public speaking and advocacy skills, he argued a case before the Supreme Court of Ohio the day after his admission to the bar—and won.

Kenneth Berger has dedicated his professional life to protecting the rights, lives, and dignity of those who have been harmed. After studying at the University of Washington and Harvard University, Mr. Berger returned to South Carolina to serve the community that raised him. A graduate of USC Law, Mr. Berger has been representing injured people and their families since his first day in practice. Mr. Berger's practice areas include personal injury and wrongful death. He is a member of the American Association for Justice's Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group, and has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers and as one of South Carolina's Outstanding Young Lawyers  by Top Attorneys. 

Dr. Mark D. Herbst is a board certified radiologist with a Ph.D. in physical chemistry who completed a fellowship in MRI and now practices in St. Petersburg, Florida. He is a nationally known expert in MRI, but reads all kinds of medical images in his clinical practice, including x-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds, and nuclear medicine scans, specializing in musculoskeletal radiology and neuroradiology. He is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology.

Dr. Herbst has taught MRI physics to technologists at St. Petersburg College, radiology to medical students at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, and image interpretation skills to resident physicians and fellows in the Obstetrics/Gynecology, Sports Medicine, and Family Practice programs at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg.

Russell Button's law firm is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. However, his practice stretches across the country. By the age of 35, Russell had tried more than 20 cases to verdict with many more on dockets across Texas and other parts of the U.S.
He cut his teeth on mass tort product cases with a well-known Texas trial lawyer before starting the Button Law Firm where his focus has largely turned to child injury and abuse, truck wreck, and other catastrophic cases.
In addition to his law practice, Russell served as a faculty member of the Keenan Trial Institute, allowing him to teach and learn from other trial lawyers across the country.

Sarah Lustig graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2000. As a registered nurse (RN), Sarah developed firsthand experience while providing direct care in Step-Down ICUs, Neurology, Orthopedic Surgery, and TBI/Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation units.
In 2004, she founded Lustig Consulting LLC, and over the last 17+ years, she has written thousands of life care plans, many of which address traumatic brain injuries. Sarah has been qualified as an expert nurse life care planner in numerous state and federal courts, testifying for both plaintiffs and defendants.
Sarah is the only life care planner in South Carolina to become a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS). She and her team are also opening a TBI Residential Community Facility where survivors with rehabilitative, short-term, and long-term living needs will receive medical, nursing, and therapeutic services.
