Philip S. Porter graduated from Clemson University in 1975 and from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1979. He was employed by the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs as a staff attorney, eventually serving as Deputy for Regulatory Enforcement, and as the Department’s Administrator and the State’s Consumer Advocate from the mid-1990s until 2002. He was in private practice from 2002 until 2007. From 2007 until March 2021 he served as Deputy General Counsel of the SCDMV where he handled, among other matters, driver license, dealer license and fuel tax matters in the Office of Motor Vehicle Hearings, Administrative Law Court, Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court. In addition to the S.C. Bar, he is admitted to the Bars of the District of South Carolina, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals.   

Sarah Gravely is a workplace wellbeing advisor and wellness consultant who works with businesses and individuals to create multidimensional, research-based wellbeing programs. She is a seasoned industry thought leader who utilizes her expertise to curate tailored wellness approaches, spark wellness awareness, and achieve business goals. Sarah spent 15 years navigating corporate and nonprofit communications, project management, and event planning, working alongside C-suite professionals and organizational leaders. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a bachelor's degree in communications and public relations and a professionally trained Integrative Nutrition Health Coach at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Sarah is a Certified Workplace Mindfulness Facilitator and holds a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Certification from Mindful Leader and is a Certified Executive Mentor with Collective Brains. She serves as a Workplace Wellbeing Contributor with Insight Timer and is currently a member of the Workplace Wellbeing Initiative with the Global Wellness Institute.

Sharon C. Bramlett

Sharon Bramlett is Special Counsel at  Turner Padget Graham & Laney PA..  She graduated magna cum laude from Furman University in 1980 and earned her J.D. from the University of South Carolina in 1985.  She was admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court in 2004.  Sharon's practice primarily involves the representation of financial institutions an d other financial services companies, both in commercial and consumer matters.  In connection with her consumer financial services practice, she serves as the South Carolina editor for Houselaw and Carlaw, national publications dealing with the consumer finance industry.  Sharon also serves as the Chairman of the Council of Advisors on Consumer Credit, a council of sixteen individuals selected by the Governor to advise the Administrator of the Department of Consumer Affairs on matters relevant to consumer credit.

In connection with Sharon's commercial practice, she assists clients with all types of real estate and personal property sales and secured transactions and has an extensive opinion practice dealing with consumer, real estate and personal property secured financing transactions. She currently serves as a member of the Legal Opinion Ad-Hoc Committee of the Corporate, Banking and Securities Law Section of the South Carolina Bar drafting the State Report on Opinion Practice in South Carolina.

Sharon also practices in the areas of commercial real estate, corporate and contract law and represents corporate trustees in public finance transactions. She has assisted in drafting legislation for the South Carolina State Housing Authority and the South Carolina Coordinating Council for Economic Development.

Sharon has served as  a member of the Task Force on the Unauthorized Practice of Law in Commercial Transactions for the South Carolina Bar and as the Chair of the Corporate Banking and securities Section of the South Carolina Bar.  She was also a Council Member of the Consumer law Section of the South Carolina Bar.  She is  a Charter Member of the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association, and  a  served as a former  President of the Palmetto Center for Women. She also  served as a member of the Judicial Qualifications Committee of the South Carolina Bar and is a former member of the City of Columbia's Commercial Revolving Loan Board.
