Wednesday, August 21, 2024South Carolina has adopted new laws this year covering
key DUI and open firearms carry. Don’t
miss this opportunity to get practical guidance on these new statutes, which
promise to have far-reaching implications for your gun owner and DUI clients.
The first hour, 2024 New DUI Law Update, will cover the
2024 changes to DUI Law including collateral consequences of conviction and
implied consent suspensions.
The South Carolina Constitutional Carry/Second Amendment
Preservation Act of 2024 drastically changed the landscape of gun laws in South
Carolina. The second hour of this program will focus on new crimes created by
the act, changes in elements to pre-existing crimes, and the provisions of this
new law that criminal practitioners need to know.
This seminar is a basic to intermediate level program.
