A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, Anne Kelley operates out of our Charleston office and offers clients throughout South Carolina and Georgia a wide range of estate planning and wealth transfer advice. Primarily, she provides counsel to business owners, individuals and families who want to ensure that their wishes are followed in the event of a serious illness or death.

With her Master of Tax Laws, Anne Kelley works with business owners, individuals and families to preserve, protect and transfer wealth to the next generation in the most tax efficient manner.

Anne Kelley has significant experience advising fiduciaries of estates and trusts on the probate and distribution of assets, the preparation and filing of fiduciary income and estate tax returns, and general estate and trust administration. Anne Kelley also represents beneficiaries and fiduciaries in will contests, spousal elective share petitions, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and trust modifications.

Her experience extends to representing private foundations, supporting organizations, public charities and other nonprofit organizations.

Anne Kelley is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law in South Carolina.

Daniel L. Draisen is a native of Anderson, South Carolina.  He received his B.A. from the University of South Carolina in 1994 and obtained his law degree from the University of Tulsa (Oklahoma) in 1997. Practice areas include personal injury, construction and real estate litigation, and probate litigation.  He has served on the South Carolina Bar Practice and Procedures Committee and the Ethics Advisory Committee.  Mr. Draisen was elected to serve as a Delegate in the SC Bar House of Delegates, is the regional chair and the 10th Circuit chair for the SC Resolution of Fee Disputes Board, has served as the State Executive Chair of the SC Resolution of Fee Disputes Board, and serves as an investigator for the Office of Disciplinary Counsel.  He is licensed to practice in all State and Federal Courts in South Carolina, before the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Court of Veterans Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.    

Judge Heather Galvin graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science where she was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society and the Delta Zeta Sorority. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the Cleveland Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University and is admitted to the practice of law in Ohio, South Carolina, and Washington D.C. Prior to moving to South Carolina; she worked for LexisNexis as an Applications Consultant and Senior Legal Research Associate. Upon relocating to South Carolina, Judge Galvin served as an Assistant Solicitor for the 14th Judicial Circuit. In 2007, she opened the Law Offices of Heather Galvin focusing on the areas of family and probate law. As part of her practice, she had the opportunity to serve as part-time Staff Attorney for the Beaufort County Probate Court; contract attorney for the Guardian ad litem programs in Allendale, Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton, and Jasper Counties in abuse and neglect proceedings involving children; and pro-bono Special Prosecutor in Beaufort County for animal cruelty cases.   In October of 2012, she was sworn in as full-time Associate Probate Judge for Beaufort County where she served until her election as Probate Judge in 2023.  She is the Second Vice President of the South Carolina Association of Probate Judges and a member of the Executive Committee of the National College of Probate Judges. In her spare time, she enjoys jogging, swimming, Pilates, and tennis.

Jonathan E. Spitz is a partner with the firm of Todd & Johnson, LLP, and represents clients in matters involving estate planning and administration, probate litigation; guardianship and conservatorship issues; and corporate formation. Jonathan graduated from Wofford College and received his Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law where he served as a research assistant to Professor Ginny Meeks. After law school, Jonathan clerked for the Honorable Amy W. McCulloch, Probate Judge for Richland County and has his Masters of Laws Degree in Taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law. Jonathan has been selected as a "Rising Star" in the area of Estate Planning and Probate in the in Super Lawyers as well a Member “Legal Elite of the Midlands” by the Columbia Business Monthly Magazine in the field of “Tax & Estate Planning Law.”

Jonathan is Certified by the Supreme Court of South Carolina as a Specialist in Estate Planning & Probate Law.

Currently, Jonathan is the Chair of the South Carolina Probate, Estate, and Trust Section of the South Carolina Bar and also serves as a member of the Wofford Alumni Association Board of Directors.

Jonathan grew up in Anderson, South Carolina, but now considers Columbia home along with his wife, Jescelyn, and their two sons, Tillman and William, and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

Rebecca Anderson is an attorney with LawyerLisa. Rebecca is dedicated and accomplished with a strong passion for guiding individuals and families through the intricacies of estate planning, life care planning, and Medicaid planning. She began her professional career over two decades ago working for a software company in Charleston.  While she enjoyed working in this fast-paced environment and was progressively promoted throughout her tenure, she decided to embark on a legal career because of her strong desire to help others. She graduated magna cum laude from the Charleston School of Law, where she successfully balanced the demands of rigorous legal studies while maintaining full-time employment, showcasing her unwavering commitment and exceptional work ethic.

Rebecca has over a decade of legal experience, including serving as a Hearing Officer within Medicaid where she managed a myriad of intricate cases pertaining to Medicaid eligibility. She also served as an attorney for the Social Security Administration and worked in a high-volume law practice focusing on Social Security Disability. Her proficiency in handling complex scenarios has been honed through these experiences, allowing her to provide comprehensive and well-informed guidance to clients and their families as they navigate the intricate legal landscape of comprehensive estate planning, life care planning and Medicaid planning.

Rebekah Thompson Senior Associate with Jolley Law Group. She is a graduate of Hartsville High School, going to attend the University of South Carolina, obtaining a B.A. in English Literature. Rebekah received her Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2015.

After graduating law school, Rebekah made her way to the low country. She is a Senior Associate with the Jolley Law Group, LLC, in the firm’s Hilton Head and Bluffton, SC offices. She practices in the areas of Estate Planning, Estate and Trust Administration, and Guardianship/Conservatorship/Incapacity Planning.

Rebekah is a member of the Probate, Estate Planning, and Trust Section and the Young Lawyers Divisions of the South Carolina Bar, as well as a member of the local Hilton Head Bar Association and the South Carolina Women’s Lawyer’s Association. She also is a member of the Hilton Head Chapter of the Council of Estate and Financial Advisors.

Rebekah is actively involved in her community and loves spending her free time with her husband, Andy, and her son Kearce.

S. Leslie McIntosh is a partner with McIntosh Sherard & Sullivan, located in Anderson. She earned her Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law in 2013. She earned a B.S. in Business Administration – Marketing and a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2006. She is admitted to practice law in South Carolina. Leslie’s practice focuses primarily on probate, estate planning, trusts, and elder law.

Leslie serves in a number of capacities with the South Carolina Bar, including, but not limited to, being a member of the House of Delegates, the Nominating Committee, the SC Probate Planning, Estate and Trust Section Council, and the Commission on Judicial Conduct. She serves as the Chair of the Conventions Committee. She is a Past President of the Anderson County Bar Association. She was awarded with the America Bar Association’s YLD’s 2023 Top 40 On the Rise award, the South Carolina Bar YLD 2021-2022 Grady B. Anthony Public Service Award, the 2022 ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award by the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce and was selected as Anderson’s 2022 Top 20 Under 40 for her service to her community. Leslie was selected as the 2020 South Carolina Women Lawyers Association Emerging Leader. She is a graduate of Leadership South Carolina and Leadership Anderson.
