This important seminar will cover a number of trips and traps for estate planning, probate, elder law and real estate attorneys as they navigate unusual and often complex issues such as having minors on titles. Many of these issues aren't spelled out in the Probate Code, caselaw, or any other published resource. Other issues to be addressed are those that impact real estate specific to older parties in the transaction such as competency and the use of POAs, especially with regard to elder fraud, Medicaid look-back, and the impacts on established estate planning.
This seminar is an Intermediate level program.
