Mr. Scalzo is an assistant attorney general working for the S.C. Attorney General's office in the Violent Crimes Case Reduction Unit. Before starting with the Attorney General's office, Mr. Scalzo was of-counsel with Tuner, Padget, Graham and Laney, PA, where he handled complex civil and criminal litigation matters. Mr. Scalzo was the Circuit Public Defender for the 13th Judicial Circuit, which includes Greenville and Pickens Counties from 2018 to 2022, and in August of 2011, was appointed by the South Carolina Commission on Indigent Defense to act as Interim Circuit Public Defender for the 10th Judicial, which includes Anderson and Oconee Counties.

Mr. Scalzo is a graduate of Rutgers College and Rutgers Law School. He was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2002. He is a member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court as well as the Greenville County Bar.  Mr. Scalzo has been certified by the South Carolina Supreme Court to be Lead Counsel in Death Penalty Cases.

Judge Daniel McLeod Coble was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina.  Judge Coble attended public schools in Columbia and graduated from Clemson University with a B.A. in Economics. He attended the University of South Carolina School of Law. 

Upon graduating law school, Judge Coble worked as an assistant solicitor for the Fifth Judicial Circuit where he also was the lead prosecutor for South Carolina's first homeless court.  He was appointed as a full-time magistrate judge for Richland County in 2017 and served as the associate chief from 2018-2021.  Judge Coble subsequently opened his own law practice, Coble Law Group, and focused on criminal and civil litigation. 

Judge Coble has written several legal books and articles and has been published by the South Carolina Bar, SC Lawyer, and several law reviews.  He served as the chair of the South Carolina Bar Publications Committee.  

He was elected in 2022 to fill the seat of the Honorable L. Casey Manning, resident judge for the Fifth Judicial Circuit, upon his retirement.

James L. Bell is the founder and senior partner in THE BELL LAW FIRM, P.A., formerly Bell, Thames, Strait & McCall, with offices in Charleston, SC and Jacksonville, Florida.  His practice includes federal civil trial law, tort litigation, medical malpractice litigation, personal injury, arbitration and mediation and international law. 

Mr. Bell has been a member of The Florida Bar for over thirty years (past member of the Professional Ethics Committee) and the South Carolina Bar (past member of the Ethics Advisory Committee). He has also been a member of the Federal Bar Association, the American Association of Justice  and has is a past Board Member and President  for the Florida Legal Services, Inc; and has served on the Florida Bar Foundation Board of Governors. Mr. Bell is a member of the United States Supreme Court; Florida Supreme Court; United States Tax Court; United States Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals of Richmond, VA; United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals at New Orleans, LA; Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals at Atlanta, GA; United States District Court, Southern District of Florida; United States District Court, Middle District of Florida; United States District Court, Northern District of Florida.

Mr. Bell has an extensive history of community and Bar volunteer services. He was admitted to the Pro Bono Honor Roll by the Supreme Court of South Carolina on March 3, 2021. His community volunteer services include assisting with the Boys Club, the YMCA and the Red Cross during several disasters and hurricanes. He volunteered to give free insurance coverage advice in Fort Lauderdale after recent hurricanes and has assisted legal service agencies with state and federal civil ligation matters. He currently is a member of the Alternate Dispute Section of the Florida Bar and is a volunteer with Florida Free Legal Answers project sponsored by the American Bar Association.
He has written numerous legal articles for the Florida Bar, the South Carolina Bar and other professional publications and has also participated in Continuing Legal Education seminars over the last 25 years in California, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina, the latest being "Ethics and professionalism" E.U. Attorneys, Amsterdam, Netherlands, Sept. 16, 2023,SC Bar "Hot Topics"Ethics Seminar, Legal Ethics,February 22, 2023: "Professionalism  of  an Attorney,"Annual Florida Bar Convention. June 5, 2022,  Attorney Fees and Client Funds," National Business Institute (NBI), February, 21, 2020, and several medical-legal issue seminars, including "Medical Records Seminar HIPPA Regulations, " in Charleston, South Carolina and Miami, FL. He has continually participated in CLE seminars during entire his legal career.  Mr. Bell received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of South Carolina.
 

Nickisha M. Woodward is a Partner and a member of the General Liability and Transportation Practices. Ms. Woodward, a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), is an experienced trial attorney who has tried over 35 cases to verdict. She focuses her practice in the areas of premises liability, products liability, and transportation, regularly handling complex and high-stakes matters. Notably, she also has extensive experience parachuting into cases involving several additional areas of law for the purpose of trying those matters. Ms. Woodward earned her law degree from the Charleston School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Clemson University. She is admitted to practice in South Carolina state and federal courts as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. 

While at Robinson Gray, Sarah has written numerous appellate briefs on a variety of legal issues. Sarah’s business litigation practice includes a wide variety of business disputes, including contractual disputes as well as legal actions between members of limited liability companies. Sarah also defends governmental entities and public officials against an assortment of claims in state and federal court. Through her diverse practice and experience as a judicial law clerk, Sarah has gained experience handling class actions, complex appeals, declaratory judgment actions, and injunctions.

Sarah graduated from Clemson University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She received her Juris Doctor in 2020 from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude, was the Associate Managing Editor of the South Carolina Law Review, and was a member of the Order of the Coif. Sarah served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable John Cannon Few of the Supreme Court of South Carolina from 2020 to 2022.
