Barbara Seymour
Barbara Seymour represents lawyers, law firms, judges, and law students in matters related to ethics, professional discipline, and Bar admissions at Clawson & Staubes, LLC in Columbia. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Management and Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1990 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia in 1993. Barbara worked as a trial lawyer until 2000 when she joined the staff of the Office of Disciplinary Counsel. She served as the Deputy Disciplinary Counsel from 2007 until 2017. She is the author of Trust Accounting for South Carolina Lawyers: An Annotated Practice Manual, published by the SC Bar. She has also taught a variety of Paralegal Studies courses since 1998.

Gregory Adams
DR. GREGORY B. ADAMS is Professor of Law Emeritus at the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he taught for 40 years, teaching legal ethics, judicial ethics, law practice technology, contract law, corporate law, antitrust law, and business organizations. He and Dean Gary Moore developed and taught the law school course on Technology and the Practice of Law, which Dean Moore continues to teach.Dr. Adams holds LL.M. and J.S.D. degrees from Columbia University School of Law and a J.D. and B.S. from LSU. He served for nearly two decades as a member of the South Carolina Bar Professional Responsibility Committee and presented its Report to the House of Delegates on the Adoption of the American Bar Association's Ethics 2000 revisions to the Rules of Professional Conduct. He has served on the A.B.A. Committee on Ethics and Professionalism, Law Practice Division. Dr. Adams has provided ethical guidance and expertise to hundreds of lawyers and law firms throughout this and other states, including many of the major law firms in South Carolina. He has been recognized by the South Carolina Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals, and Federal Courts as an expert on lawyers' ethics and duties, legal technology, and business law. Three South Carolina Attorneys General, the South Carolina Secretary of State, the United States Attorney for the District of South Carolina, and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission have relied upon his expertise to guide and assist them in significant criminal investigations and prosecutions. He has spoken on lawyers' ethics and technology at hundreds of Continuing Legal Education programs including the Legal Ethics and Practice Program of the South Carolina Bar Law Office Management School.

Haley Hubbard
Haley was born and raised in a small town in Southwest Georgia where her family still resides, but she has lived in South Carolina long enough to call it her second home.In 2014, she received her B.A. in Political Science from Mercer University in Macon, GA. After college, Haley moved to Columbia to attend the University of South Carolina School of Law, from which she received her J.D. in 2017. During her time in law school, Haley served as Corresponding Secretary for the Black Law Students Association, Articles Editor for the ABA Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Journal, and a student member of the John Belton O'Neall American Inn of Court.
After becoming a licensed attorney, Haley worked as a Public Defender in Richland County for four years where she gained invaluable courtroom and trial experience. In 2022, she joined Ballard & Watson as an associate where her practice consists of professional license defense, civil and appellate litigation, and professional responsibility and ethics.
In her down time, Haley enjoys spending time with her family and friends, lazy Saturdays with her dog Bruno, Gamecock football, and binge watching true crime shows.

Jeffrey Silverberg
Jeff Silverberg has served as an Assistant Disciplinary Counsel with the South Carolina Supreme Court Office of Disciplinary Counsel since 2021. He was previously a partner at Howser, Newman and Besley, LLC, an insurance defense firm, where his practice primarily focused on defending premises liability actions and other personal injury cases. Prior to working at HNB, Jeff worked at Mabry Law Firm, representing individuals in employment law matters, including employment discrimination cases. Jeff graduated cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Julie Hunter
Julie is an associate in the Columbia office of Clawson & Staubes, LLC, where her practice focuses primarily on insurance defense, civil litigation, and professional responsibility. She also handles appellate work and has argued before the South Carolina Supreme Court.
Before joining Clawson & Staubes, Julie was an Assistant Attorney General at the South Carolina Attorney General's Office, where she handled hundreds of post-conviction relief hearings and appeals across the state.
Julie was born and raised in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. while in college, Julie was a member of Kappa Delta sorority and served two terms as president of Tau Beta Sigma service sorority. She was an active member of the Wildcat Marching Band and Pep Band and served two years as the trumpet section leader
Julie attended the University of South Carolina School of Law and graduated with her Juris Doctor degree in 2015. In law school, she was a peer mentor and the Associate Symposium Editor of the South Carolina Journal of International Law and Business. She also clerked for a local insurance defense firm for two years in law school. Julie was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2015 and to the kentucky Bar in 2016.

Lesley Coggiola
Before her retirement in 2018, Lee Coggiola was Disciplinary
Counsel for the South Carolina Supreme Court, and before that Chief Staff
Attorney for the South Carolina Court of Appeals and the Chief Public Defender

law school she spent eleven years with IBM in systems and marketing She is currently an adjunct instructor at

William Higgins
Bill has been practicing law in Columbia since 1985. His
primary practice areas are commercial real estate, tax-deferred exchanges of
real estate, entity formation and other business transactions, and legal ethics
and lawyer misconduct. Bill also serves as general counsel to GLV. Bill teaches
the Real Estate Transactions I course at the University of South Carolina
School of Law.
Bill is an active member of the South Carolina Bar, having
served as chair of the Real Estate Practice Section Council, the Professional
Responsibility Committee, and the Ethics 2000 subcommittee. He currently serves
