Edgar M. Pinilla
Edgar Michael Pinilla, a Virginia native, attended Virginia Commonwealth University where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology in 2004. Mr. Pinilla's interest in law brought him to the Palmetto State where he pursued his Juris Doctorate at the University of South Carolina School of Law. Mr. Pinilla was admitted to practice law in 2008 by the South Carolina Supreme Court, and in 2009, he was also admitted to practice before the United States District Court of South Carolina.
In the course of his practice, Mr. Pinilla has represented clients from at least fifteen different countries in immigration and related matters. He represents individuals before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service as well as various Immigration Courts. Mr. Pinilla also represents clients in state court for a range of civil and criminal matters. As a first-generation immigrant, Mr. Pinilla understands the obstacles involved in settling down in this country and strives to help his clients navigate sensitive immigration issues, family law disputes, or criminal charge
