Michelle Skipper is the Vice President of the Commercial Division at the American Arbitration Association based in Charlotte, NC. She holds an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Texas – San Antonio and earned her M.B.A. from the McColl School of Business at Queens University, Charlotte, NC.

 

In her role, Michelle oversees the management of intricate commercial arbitrations within the mid-Atlantic regions. She specializes in identifying and engaging arbitrators and mediators, enriching the AAA roster of neutrals. Michelle delivers comprehensive training to clients and legal practitioners on leveraging dispute resolution processes effectively.

 

Furthermore, Michelle serves as the AAA's National Healthcare Lead, steering all healthcare and life science initiatives while presiding over the AAA Healthcare Dispute Resolution Advisory Council. She actively contributes as the Vice Chair for the ABA Health Law-Litigation & Risk Management Interest Group and also holds the position of Vice Chair for the ABA Business Law, Health, and Life Sciences section.
