About the Seminar
This two-hour program will guide attorneys through the digital investigation process in a legal matter, as to forensic investigation of (1) computers and (2) mobile devices. Attendees will gain an understanding of what is possible (as well as what is realistic) when they encounter computer and mobile device evidence in cases that need to be preserved and analyzed. The instructor will cover chain-of-custody and authentication issues that often arise with respect to such evidence, as well as consent/”authority to access” issues. The focus will be on giving attendees insight into real-world digital forensic processes with an eye toward admissibility and presentation of electronic evidence in the courtroom.
